Joe Compton
Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director Advisory Services
ABOUT
Joe is a member of MMG’s executive leadership team participating in the formulation of organizational strategy while directly overseeing the new IT Advisory Services Business Line. He is responsible for various critical business initiatives including providing consulting services to our clients, managing our internal analyst staff, supporting our overall sales efforts, and assisting our team in the execution and oversight of various critical projects.
Joe brings over 35 years of IT and Business Development experience. Prior to joining MMG in 2024, Joe worked at the fifteenth largest full-service accounting and professional services firm for 12 years, most recently serving as a Partner and Senior Director of Cyber Security and Privacy.
Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and History from John Carroll University and received a Certificate in Executive Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Notre Dame. He presently holds many IT certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and PCIP (Payment Card Industry Professional).
As a graduate of the 2014 class of Leadership Cleveland as well as the 2014 Mandel Leadership Program, Joe is an active Northeast Ohio community member serving on:
