As a Team Lead at Medic Management Group, Samantha Laslo trains all new team members and supports the Accounts Receivables team for a large client to ensure accurate claims submissions and prompt payments.
Samantha brings nearly 25 years of medical billing experience to her role, with over 16 years at MMG. Dedicated and adaptable, Samantha is often called upon by her team for assistance and enjoys digging into tough issues to find a solution. She is skilled in all areas of medical billing, from charge entry and patient and insurance AR to payment posting, onboarding of new clients and training of new employees.
Samantha is proficient in Etactics and Appeals Plus and has more than 16 years of experience working with the billing system MicroMD.
Prior to joining MMG, Samantha worked as a Pharmacy Technician, consolidating and balancing claims daily as well as submitting all DME paper claims and prior authorization requests to various insurances. She honed her medical billing skills at Edgepark Surgical, a national DME company, where she managed a team of eight medical billers as Team Lead.
