Tamiya Williams
ABOUT
Tamiya serves as Director of RCM Services at Medic Management Group. In this capacity, she oversees delivery of outsource RCM services, Coding, Payor Enrollment, and Practice Advisory and Consulting Services while also serving as a member of MMG’s Executive Leadership Team.
Tamiya’s professional background includes nearly 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having held roles in both healthcare practice operations and revenue cycle management. Since joining MMG in 2007, she has progressed through roles including Revenue Cycle Operations, Practice Management, Practice Consulting, and management oversight of MMG’s Practice Advisory and Consulting Division.
Her proven proficiencies include revenue cycle execution, operational management, practice performance diagnostics, financial modeling, and contract review applied to work with independent and private equity owned practice groups and hospital-based / system aligned clinical operations.
Tamiya holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree obtained from Ohio University and is American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) Board Certified holding a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation.
